How Did The Booth Begin?

Diver Down was started in September 2025 by longtime high school friends Jack Cotter and Lewis Sinclair. Both have been regulars at estate sales and vintage shops for years, always hunting for unique pieces and building collections of their own. When a booth opened at MotherLode in Athens, they decided to team up and turn their hobby into something bigger.

Lewis is a Senior at the University of Georgia studying History and African American Studies, and Jack lives in Atlanta managing the band Penelope Road. Together, they run Diver Down with a love for pieces that have personality and a story behind them. Their long-term goal is to open a storefront in Atlanta and continue growing the brand.
